I'm Siekwie. I build small apps and run them myself.

I'm a developer from Germany and I've been writing software since I was 14: desktop tools, simulators and web apps in C++, Odin, Lua and TypeScript. These three apps each do one job, and all of them are live on my server at wiest-lab.eu.

RepoEasy

GitHub forgets your traffic after 14 days. RepoEasy keeps it.

Sign in with GitHub and RepoEasy archives views, visitors, clones, referrers and stars for your repositories every day, private ones included. It also follows any public repository on GitHub or Codeberg. It is one small Node process with one SQLite file, so you can run it yourself.

FriendsShare

Too big for Discord or email? Send it straight to your friend.

Put files in a folder, send your friend the share code, and the folder travels directly from your PC to theirs. Nothing is uploaded, so there is no size limit. The connection is encrypted, and the server that introduces the two PCs never sees the code, the file names or the files.

FriendsShare window: a shared folder with its share code and a list of videos and photos

MarkItDown

The clean markdown editor. Read for free.

Files open fully rendered and you edit them in place: markdown syntax only shows around the cursor, while tables, math, diagrams and images stay rendered. It works offline, needs no account, and saving never reformats your file.

MarkItDown editing a physics note: a rendered diagram, a formula under the cursor and a code block

Other projects

All projects
  • GLL

    C++, SFML, Modbus

Gate Logic Language: write circuits in a simple text language, simulate them live and sync I/O over Modbus TCP. What I use to program robot cells in Factory I/O.

  • GRRS

    Odin

Desktop app that finds every Git repository under a folder and lists the working-tree status, upstream sync state and branch count of each one.

  • Odysseus

    Odin, FFmpeg, WebRTC

Low-latency screen sharing for the local network. It captures the screen, encodes it with FFmpeg and streams it over WebRTC to any browser on the same network.

  • KanbanEasy

    Lua, LÖVE

A small, fast, native kanban board for keeping track of agentic AI work. Coding agents update it over a local HTTP API. No accounts, no cloud.

Notes

All notes
  • Why WiestLab exists, and what you will actually find here.

  • Gate Logic Language: a circuit language plus live simulator with Modbus sync. What I actually use to drive Factory I/O robot cells.

  • My DEV folder is full of windows that look like projects. Only some of them earned a place on this site.
